Belly Groove  - Belly dance with a difference

18 Morts Road Mortdale.

First class is free, so come along and give it a try. 
Suitable for women of all ages. No experience necessary 

A dance class based on the fundamentals of belly dance.  

Basic belly dance
Technique of isolations of hips, belly, chest, and arms and hands will be taught as well as moving steps. There will be opportunity to learn moves, sequences, routines and choreographies and also to improvise, and create your own moves.

Fun and friendly
Interactive, non competitive class and women of all ages, shapes and sizes are welcome. Mature women especially welcome. 

Music
We will be dancing to a wide variety of music including:  World music, Arabic, Tribal, Fusion, Chill, and old pop/rock music from the 70's, 80's 90's. 

Fitness Level
You will only need a  basic level of fitness, such as - can you easily sit on the floor and get yourself up without  too much effort? If so, you're fit and flexible enough for this class. ?

What to wear
Anything that feels comfortable, eg- active wear, shorts, skirts, stretchy pants, loose pants, singlet, t shirt or crop top, bare feet, socks, or jiffies.
